Cross-head in the Church of St Oswald, Lythe, North Yorkshire dating from the mid-ninth to tenth century.
“Very rare amongst cross-heads in Yorkshire though it has similarities with some Irish crosses. There is no halo present, so the carving may not necessarily have represented Christ.”
